My home town is Zaporozhye in South-Eastern Ukraine, where I was born in 1975.

I moved to Lebanon after finishing high school in 1992 to join my family. I studied Advertising Design and Fine Arts at the Lebanese American University in Byblos (Jbeil). I graduated with distinction in 1998 and have also received a presidential award for having the highest GPA in my school.

I participated in many exhibitions and was running a gallery-workshop for 5 years where I was teaching art as well as selling paintings and taking various commissions. I have developed a personal style, mainly painting flowers, which is aimied at attaining realistic representation through using purely primary-complementary colours and new surface forms. I am particularly interested in how depth and 3-dimentionality change conventional paintings' forms and create new planes for one same image.

I have graduated with an M.A. degree in Digital Media from Sussex University in 2004 ( www.sussex.ac.uk ) and have moved to another great city, London. I am now working as a Web producer at Sun Microsystems as well as a freelance artist/designer. Keep visiting my Website as I am working on new paintings and would love to hear from you!
